Q: Does "free" really mean "free"?
Yes! "Free" really does mean "free" with OM Plus+! Unlike other companies, Olan Mills provides all of the benefits of the Online Directory at no charge. With OM Plus+, you can update family and staff photos and your entire church roster at any time, create a printable small group pocket directory, download family and staff photos to church management software and PDAs, link from your church website or make it your website and offer so many more benefits to your church.

Q: What does my church have to do to receive the OM Plus+ Online Directory?
When your church signs up for the free directory program from Olan Mills, it will have the option of receiving the free OM Plus+ Online Directory.

Q: Is there a minimum number of families required for a church to have OM Plus+?
Not as long as your church has signed up for the free directory program from Olan Mills.

Q: Will my church’s Online Directory ever expire?
Your Online Directory is provided by Olan Mills for 36 months and can be renewed in 36-month increments each time a new printed directory is contracted with Olan Mills.

Q: How secure is OM Plus+?
We enlist the latest technology to provide the ultimate security for our Internet community. Extensive security measures prevent server and software hacking attempts with a variety of security and monitoring methods. The software is built with specific username/accounts and randomly assigned passwords that are changeable by the directory administrator at anytime.

Q: Can new member photos be added to keep the Online Directory current?
Yes! It's so quick and easy for your church to add new member photos that someone could become a member of your church one Sunday morning and you could add their digital photo to your OM Plus+ Online Directory before they even get home that afternoon.

Q: Can the roster be updated at any time?
Yes. The directory administrator can add, edit or delete roster information at any time just like they can add or delete family and staff photos at any time.

Q: Will our staff photos be online?
Yes. Staff photos taken as part of your church directory program will be uploaded to your Online Directory. Your directory administrator can then add or delete staff photos at any time in the future.

Q: Can my church put a link from our church website to OM Plus+?
Yes. Your church can put a link from your website to your OM Plus+. You can also post a link from OM Plus+ to your church website using the web links feature.

Q: Can the images be printed from the Online Directory and used in a bulletin or PowerPoint?
Yes. Your directory administrator will find this is very easy to do.

Q: Can the church download the directory into church management software?
Yes. The Online Directory provides a download for use with church management software.

Q: Can I download the Online Directory onto my PDA?
Yes. To help you keep up with your church family wherever you are, your Online Directory can be downloaded to your PDA.

Q: What do I need in order to utilize OM Plus+?
Just a reasonably up-to-date web browser. Unlike other services which may require you to install software onto your computer, OM Plus+ is a completely web-based service.

Q: Can my church use OM Plus+ by itself if we do not have a church website?
Yes. The directory link provided can be distributed to your membership for accessing OM Plus+. However, if you want to use a domain name that is more identifiable with your membership, you could set one up and have it redirect to the OM Plus+ URL.

Q: Will OM Plus+ run on a Mac®?
Yes. However, Firefox is the only browser that is supported on the Mac® for directory maintenance and member viewing.

Q: Does OM Plus+ provide statistics for review of site activity?
Yes. Statistics are available for the OM Plus+ Online Directory. It will allow you to view the number of visitors that your site is receiving. You will see detail as well as summary information for when, what and who.

Q: Is there a limitation on the number of pages or sub-pages that can be created?
Page and sub-page creation is "unlimited" allowing you to build a very extensive website.

Q: Can I create forms to solicit feedback or information from my members?
You can create an unlimited number of web forms for pages in your OM Plus+ site (one form per page maximum). Each form can have unlimited fields/questions with responses automatically returned to the Directory Administrator.

Q: Can I add custom fields to my directory in addition to those supplied to Olan Mills?
Typically your church supplies only the name / address / phone number for the publication of the printed directory. On the OM Plus+ Online Directory, you can add additional fields for communicating other information you deem essential, such as email addresses, fax numbers, cell numbers, etc. Unlimited fields can be added and displayed in the Online Directory.

Q: Does product support fundraising or monetary collections?
A PayPal® Link Option is built into the system for use by your church to provide a gateway for monetary collection of funds for whatever purpose deemed applicable. A PayPal account is needed to activate the link.

Q: Can I allow my membership to advertise their businesses through our church website?
With OM Plus+, you have total control over the page content which can include business cards, ads and "sponsored by" messages that link to business websites.

Q: Do the OM Plus+ pages have Search capability for the site visitor?
Yes. A sidebar widget option allows the inclusion of a Search box on each page for quickly browsing the site for keywords or phrases.
